NetWare Driver Installation

11.1
Introduction
This section provides instructions for installing the NetWare driver.
NOTE: References to Novell NetWare 5.x and 6.x refer to versions that are
currently supported by Novell. Novell no longer supports version 4.2. If
you are using this version, be sure to install support pack 9 (NW42SP9).
11.2
Creating the Driver Disk
Follow these steps to create driver disk containing the files needed to install the
NetWare driver:
1. Locate the driver you want on the QLogic website (www.qlogic.com
) and click
Link to driver.
2. If prompted What would you like to do with this file? choose Save this
program to disk. Specify a temporary location on the hard drive and download
the driver.
3. Insert a blank disk in drive A.
4. Run the self-extracting file you just downloaded specifying A:\NETWARE for
Unzip To Folder.
After the file has extracted, verify that the *.HAM and *.DDI files are in the folder
A:\NETWARE.
