Before You Install
Before you install the software drivers, you need to:
■ Locate and download the appropriate drivers for your operating system. The
latest version of the QLA22xx drivers for the following operating systems
are located on the QLogic web site, http://www.qlogic.com.
❑ Santa Cruz Operations (SCO) UnixWare 7.0 and 7.1
❑ NetWare 4.X and 5.X
❑ Windows NT 4.0
❑ Windows 2000
❑ Solaris SPARC v2.6, 7, and 8
❑ Solaris x86 v2.6 and 7
❑ Red Hat Linux 6.2, 7.0, and 7.1
NOTE: QLogic drivers are self-extracting and meant to be downloaded onto
disks. The installation instructions in this guide assume that the
QLogic drivers reside on disks.
■ Read through this guide to determine which drivers you want to install.

■ Novell NetWare versions 4.X and 5.X
■ Windows NT version 4.0

■ Solaris SPARC v2.6, 7, and 8
■ Solaris x86 v2.6 and 7
■ Red Hat Linux 6.2, 7.0, and 7.1 kernel
