5 – Using QLconfig Sharing Components

When you select one of these menu options, QLconfig requests the machine to
delete its registry data. This action effectively puts that machine into a default mode
of operation where no configuration has been made.

Sharing Components
QLconfig enables you to share target devices and LUNs within your SAN system.
To access these features, select Options & Help>>Options from the QLconfig
main window. The Options window displays (see figure 5-17):

5.4.1
Sharing Target Devices
In the Options window (see figure 5-17), follow these steps:
1. Select Check for shared devices (targets) among machines.
This option synchronizes the sharing of target devices among connected
machines. If this option is turned off, the application does not perform any
checking when a device is configured.
