The New Machine Connection window displays (see figure 5-5):

2. In the Machine Name field, do one of the following:
❑ Select Local from the drop-down menu to connect to a local machine.
or
❑ Select a remote device name from the drop-down menu, or type the
remote machine’s name in the field. You can find the system’s machine
name by clicking the Show network map button.
or
❑ Click Clear Name List to delete all of the machines on the list except
Local. (Local cannot be deleted.)
