This option is helpful for novice users who are not certain of what to do
and want to find quick help. It may become repetitive to experienced users
and can be turned off.
❑ Options for sharing devices among machine(s). This feature enables you to
synchronize the sharing of target devices among connected machines. If
you disable this option, QLconfig does not check the configured devices.
❑ Options for sharing LUNs among machine(s). This option enables you to
synchronize the sharing of a target devices’ LUNs among connected
machines. If you disable this option, QLconfig does not check when a LUN
is enabled. If you enable this option, QLconfig searches all the connected
machines to see if the enabled LUNs are also enabled on other machines.
If they are, QLconfig will take action depending on the options you have
selected in the QLogic Configuration Options and Options for sharing
devices among machine(s) fields.

When you select Options & Help>>Help Topics from the QLconfig main window,
the Help Topics window displays (see figure 4-12):
