FC0051102-00 A 4-15
❑ Set as un-configured. This option sets a primary or failover path to
unconfigured.
NOTE: For the three options above, if the path belongs to a multipath
device (can be accessed by more than one QLA2xxx adapter),
the other paths are automatically adjusted to make sure that
there is only one path designated as primary.
❑ Set Path LUN Mask. Use this option to display the LUN Configuration
window, from which you can configure the machine’s devices and
LUNs.
❑ Path Information. This option displays the path’s detailed information.
4.4.2
Menu Options
The Device and LUN Configuration window contains three menus: File, Device
Replacement, and Help.
4.4.2.1
File
You can save and delete configurations using this menu. This menu contains five
options:
❑ Save and Apply the Current Configuration. This option saves the current
configuration to the registry after a validity check, and updates the
QLA2xxx adapter to make the new configuration effective immediately
(without rebooting the system).
❑ Save Configuration to the Registry. This option saves the current
configuration to the registry after a validity check. The changes do not take
effect until the machine is rebooted.
❑ Delete Selected Adapter’s Registry Data. This option deletes the selected
QLA2xxx adapter’s current registry data, if it exists. Consequently, the
system has no configured device in the next reboot.
❑ Print Configuration. This option sends the current device setup to the
printer.
❑ Exit Machine’s Configuration. This option closes the Device and LUN
Machine Connection window and returns to the QLconfig main window.
