Menus
When you right-click on the machines or QLA2xxx adapters in the machine
mapping tree, a menu displays. This menu consists of the functions that you can
perform on the machines or QLA2xxx adapters.
4.2.3.1
Machine Menu
Right-click on a machine in the machine mapping tree to display the following
menu options:
❑ Configure Machine. Select this option to open the Device and LUN
Configuration window for the selected machine. Use this window to
configure the machine’s devices and LUNs.
❑ Save and Apply Machine Configuration. Select this option to
immediately save and apply machine configuration changes you have made
in the Device and LUN Configuration window. You do not need to reboot
the machine for a new configuration to be effective.
❑ Save Configuration to Machine Registry. Select this option to save
configuration changes you have made in the Device and LUN Configuration
window into that machine’s registry. You must reboot the machine for the
new configuration to become effective.
❑ Delete Selected Adapter’s Registry Data. Select this option to delete the
selected machine’s registry data. This action effectively puts that machine
into a default mode of operation where no configuration has been made in
the next reboot.
