Requirements
2.1
Introduction
QLconfig requires the hardware and software listed in this section for optimum
performance.
2.2
Hardware Requirements
❑ QLogic QLA2xxx Fibre Channel adapter (see section 2.4)
❑ Single- or multi-processor server or workstation
❑ Pentium class 100 MHz; 64-MB RAM; minimum 20-MB disk space

Software Requirements
❑ Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server, Enterprise Server, or Workstation with
Service Pack 5 or later
or
Windows 2000 Server, Advanced Server, or Professional
❑ QLogic QLA2xxx miniport drivers, version 7.5.2 or later
❑ QLdirect, version 7.2.5 or later, for QLconfig High Availability version
failover on Windows NT or Windows 2000 servers
❑ TCP/IP Protocol for Windows NT or Windows 2000 remote management
❑ Novell NetWare 4.2, 5.x server (optional)
❑ Internetwork Packet eXchange/Sequenced Packet eXchange (IPX/SPX)
protocol for Novell NetWare 4.2, 5.x remote management
