During the update process, the application displays a wait message. If the
update fails for some reason, an error message displays (for example, see
figure 5-29).

Changing QLA2xxx Adapter NVRAM Settings
You can change NVRAM parameters on a Windows NT/2000 system if these
conditions are met:
❑ You select the Enable NVRAM Parameters Update option under QLview
for Fibre Security (see section 5.2.5.1).
❑ You provide the correct password and it is authenticated by the QLview for
Fibre Security Agent.
