5. After you enter a valid flash file, the application displays a warning message
and informs you that the new flash will not take effect until the system is
rebooted (see figure 5-28).

Do one of the following:
❑ Click OK to proceed with the update.
or
❑ Click Cancel to abort the update.
If you click OK, QLview for Fibre verifies the contents of the new file for
errors or incorrect formatting. If the file is correct, QLview for Fibre
compares the version of the file with the QLA2xxx adapter’s flash version.
If the QLA2xxx adapter’s version is the same or newer than the file’s,
QLview for Fibre prompts you to verify that you still want to update the
flash.
