Selecting Sampling Parameters
The Statistics page contains the Configuration section, which enables you to select
the manual or automatic sampling mode, set the rate of sampling for automatic
mode, and initiate a sampling in manual mode.

Selecting a Sampling Mode
To select a sampling mode, follow these steps:
1. Click the Statistics tab on the Adapter’s Information & Statistics window.
The Statistics page displays (see figure 5-16).
2. Select Automatic Sampling or Manual Sampling. The other mode is
automatically deselected.
3. Click OK.

Selecting a Sampling Rate
The default sampling rate is every five seconds. To change the sampling rate, follow
these steps:
1. From the Statistics page, select Automatic Sampling mode.
2. Click Set Sampling Rate.
The Statistics Sampling Rate dialog displays (see figure 5-17):
