Specifying Event Types
You can select the types of events to display in the Events Log from the Options
window (see figure 5-14).
1. You may do any combination of the following:
Select Log Informational Event to enable logging of an informational
event. Informational events are defined as loop up and port update.
Select Log Warning Event to enable logging of events that are
classified as warnings. Warning events are defined as Loop Initialization
Process (LIP) reset.
2. Click Save, then click Cancel to return to the QLview for Fibre main
window.

Displaying Adapter Information
To view general, static information about a QLA2xxx adapter, as well as its
dynamically changing statistics, follow these steps:
1. Do one of the following:
Right-click on a QLA2xxx adapter in the machine mapping tree in the
QLview for Fibre main window, then select Adapter’s Information &
Statistics from the menu.
or
Click on a QLA2xxx adapter in the machine mapping tree on the
QLview for Fibre main window, then click Information & Statistics.
The Adapter’s Information & Statistics window displays. This window
contains three pages: General Information, Statistics, and Port
Database. Click on the appropriate tab to display these pages.
