5 – Using QLview for Fibre Monitoring the Connections

1. To find out what error condition has occurred, select File>>Acknowledge
Alarm from the QLview for Fibre main window.
The Acknowledge Alarm window displays (see figure 5-11):

2. Highlight the active alarms on the list; then click Acknowledge Alarm.
3. If there is more than one active alarm, you are prompted to delete all of
them. Do one of the following:
❑ Click Yes to delete all active alarms.
or
❑ Click No to acknowledge and delete only the oldest alarm in the alarm
list.
The QLview for Fibre system tray icon stops flashing and goes back to
its normal state after you acknowledge all active alarms and the alarm list
is empty.
If the alarm list is empty and you click Acknowledge Alarm, a dialog
displays to inform you that there is no active alarm.
