Disconnecting a Machine
You may want to disconnect a machine when the current machine is experiencing
problems that stop DMI communication. To terminate the DMI connection between
QLview for Fibre and a managed machine, and to remove the machine from the
active machine list, follow these steps:
1. Do one of the following from the QLview for Fibre main window:
Right-click on the machine in the mapping tree, select Disconnect from
Machine from the menu, then click Yes.
or
Select Machine Connection>>Disconnect from Selected Machine,
then click Yes .
Transport Type Description
ncacn_ip_tcp This is a connection-oriented TCP over an IP.
ncacn_nb_tcp This is a connection-oriented TCP over NetBIOS.
ncacn_nb_ipx This is a connection-oriented IPX over NetBEUI.
ncacn_nb_nb This is a connection-oriented NetBIOS over NetBEUI.
ncacn_np This is a connection-oriented transport named pipes.
ncacn_spx This is a connection-oriented SPX.
ncacn_dnet_nsp This is a connection-oriented DECnet transport.
ncadg_ip_udp This is a Datagram (connectionless) UDP over an IP.
ncadg_ipx This is a Datagram (connectionless IPX).
ncalrpc This is a local (cross-process) procedure call.
