Closing the QLview for Fibre Main Window
To close the QLview for Fibre main window, but keep the QLview for Fibre
application monitoring activities operating, follow these steps:
1. Select File>>Close. This dialog displays (see figure 5-2):

2. Do one of the following:
Click Yes to terminate the QLview for Fibre application.
or
Click No to close the main window but keep QLview for Fibre active.
or
Click Cancel to leave the main window open.

Setting QLview for Fibre Security
QLview for Fibre security allows you to specify whether to enable the QLA2xxx
adapters NonVolatile RAM (NVRAM) and flash BIOS updates. The process
differs for Windows NT/2000 and NetWare systems.
5.2.5.1
QLview for Fibre Security Windows NT/2000 Application
Use the QLview for Fibre Security application to enable or disable updating the
QLA2xxx adapters NVRAM settings or the flash BIOS. If you enable this option,
you must provide a password to make updates.
CAUTION!
Changing NVRAM settings incorrectly can cause serious damage
to your system. Use caution when granting access to this function.
System administrators and other authorized personnel can enable NVRAM
parameter and flash BIOS updates by enabling the feature and requiring password
authorization.
