Diagnostics & Utilities Page
You use this page to update the QLA2xxx adapter flash BIOS from files and for
performing loopback and read/write buffer diagnostics. Click the Diagnostics &
Utilities tab on the Adapter’s Diagnostics and Utilities window to display the
Diagnostics & Utilities page (see figure 4-21):

The Diagnostics & Utilities page has two buttons:
❑ Update Flash From File. Select this button to update the flash by entering
the file name that contains the new flash BIOS. The new flash takes effect
when you reboot your system.
CAUTION! Changing flash BIOS settings incorrectly can cause serious
damage to your system. If in doubt, always consult your
systems expert before changing any flash BIOS settings.
