Port Database Columns
The Port Database columns on the page display all of the drives attached to the
QLA2xxx adapters and provide information about the drives. The following data
is displayed for each drive:
❑ Path
❑ Target ID
❑ AL_PA
❑ Loop ID
❑ Company
❑ Product ID
❑ Product Revision

Loop Map
The loop map consists of two columns. The first column is an ordered port list; the
second is the device AL_PA. The right side of the loop map displays all of the
AL_PAs, ordered in the same way as the electrical (not physical) connections
between devices as established by the most recent LIP.
NOTE: Loop map only applies to the local loop. If you use a Fibre Channel
Switch, the loop map may show partial or no information.

Diagnostics and Utilities Window
The Diagnostics and Utilities window displays when you do one of the following:
❑ Right-click on a QLA2xxx adapter in the machine mapping tree on the
QLview for Fibre main window, then select Diagnostics and Utilities from
the adapter’s menu.
or
❑ Click on a QLA2xxx adapter in the machine mapping tree on the QLview
for Fibre main window, then click on Diagnostics and Utilities on the right
side of the main window.
