Options Window
The Option window displays when you select Options & Help>>Options from
the QLview for Fibre main window (see figure 4-12):

You can configure the following features from the Options window. See section 5
for instructions on specifying these options.
❑ Polling Interval. This is the interval that QLview for Fibre polls connected
machines for alarms and indications.
❑ Event Log. This enables you to specify the number of events kept in the log
file and whether QLview for Fibre logs informational and warning events.
NOTE: You cannot disable the logging of alarms.
❑ Warning Messages. You can disable the display of warning messages for
diagnostics.
This window also displays a Machine Name drop-down menu for reference only;
the polling interval always applies to the machine that you have currently selected
in the main window.
