A yellow adapter icon with a red X through it indicates that the adapter cannot
communicate with any devices or that it has no connected devices (see figure 4-4):

QLA2xxx Adapter Naming Conventions
The QLA2xxx adapter’s name consists of two parts: its type and WorldWide Name
(WWN), in hexadecimal. For example, the QLA2xxx adapter’s name:
QLA2100-20-00-00-E0-8B-6D-8F-21 indicates that it is a model QLA2100
adapter whose WWN is
20-00-00-E0-8B-6D-8F-21.
The target device’s names consist of the manufacturer’s name, the path, and the
target. The path is the same for all target devices of a given QLA2xxx adapter; the
targets are different. For example, the names for target devices SEAGATE
Path 0-Target 3 and SEAGATE Path 0-Target 4 indicate that they are both
manufactured by Seagate, are connected to the same QLA2xxx adapter (Path 0),
and are targets 3 and 4 for the specified QLA2xxx adapter.
