Requirements
2.1
Introduction
QLview for Fibre requires the hardware and software listed in this section for
optimum performance.
2.2
Hardware Requirements
❑ QLogic Fibre Channel QLA2xxx adapters (see section 2.4)
❑ Single- or multi-processor server or workstation
❑ Pentium class 100 MHz, 64-MB RAM, minimum 20-MB disk space
2.3
Software Requirements
❑ Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server, Enterprise Server, or workstation with
Service Pack 5 or later
or
Windows 2000 Server, Advanced Server, or Professional
❑ Novell NetWare 4.2, 5.x server (optional)
❑ QLogic QL2xxx miniport drivers, version 7.5.2 or later
❑ TCP/IP protocol for Windows NT and Windows 2000 remote management
❑ Internetwork Packet eXchange/Sequenced Packet eXchange (IPX/SPX)
protocol for Novell NetWare 4.2, 5.x remote management

functions.
