1. Connect the small end of the USB cable to the eReader micro USB
port, and the larger end to an available USB port on your computer.
2. Select when prompted to use the device as a mass
storage. The device is recognized by your computer as a
removable drive. “Sync in progress” is displayed on the screen
while connected.
3. Macintosh recognizes the eReader drive as listed as PD_NOVEL.
Double-click the
PD_NOVEL icon that appears on the desktop.
4. To copy les into your device, select and drag the desired les into
the appropriate pre-assigned folder based on le type:

eBooks
\eBooks\BNDownloads\books
\eBooks\BNDownloads\magazines
\eBooks\BNDownloads\newspapers
\Photos
5. To copy les from your eReader into your computer, select and drag
the desired les to any desired location on your computer.
The device only recognizes les that are of a supported format
and resides in the appropriate pre-assigned folder (i.e., photo les
must be in \Photos folder, etc.). If you create any other folders
or sub folders under the pre-assigned folders, the les are not
recognized.
File names may NOT include special characters; otherwise they
are not recognized by the device.
Disconnect from Macintosh
After disconnecting the USB cable from the device, it shuts down
and automatically restarts, which may take up to 20 seconds.
Please wait and allow the Home screen to be displayed again.
1. To safely disconnect from your Macintosh, select the PD_NOVEL
icon on your desktop and press Command-e to eject the disk.
2. When the icon is no longer on the desktop, it is safe to unplug the
USB cable.
