BASE UNIT Controls – Answering System
8. ANSWER FUNCTION ON/OFF Button: Press to activate or deactivate the answer
function.
9. OUTGOING MESSAGE Button: Press and hold down to record OGM message.
10. CODE Button: Press to set the 3-digit Remote Access Code for remote operation.
11. SET Button: Press to set /check the day and time.
12. MAILBOX 1 Button with the LED Indicator: Press to activate functions for Mailbox 1.
MAILBOX 1 LED Indicator: Lights to indicate the presence of message(s) and blinks to indicate
Mailbox 1 is active and ready to operate.
13. MAILBOX 2 Button with the LED Indicator: Press to activate functions for Mailbox 2.
MAILBOX 2 LED Indicator: Lights to indicate the presence of message(s) and blinks to indicate
Mailbox 1 is active and ready to operate.
14. MAILBOX 3 Button with the LED Indicator: Press to activate functions for Mailbox 3.
MAILBOX 3 LED Indicator: Lights to indicate the presence of message(s) and blinks to indicate
Mailbox 3 is active and ready to operate.
15. MAILBOX 4 Button with the LED Indicator : Press to activate functions for Mailbox 4.
MAILBOX 4 LED Indicator: Lights to indicate the presence of message(s) and blinks to indicate
Mailbox 4 is active and ready to operate.
16. IN USE LED Indicator: Lights up to indicate that the HANDSET is in TALK mode.
17. CHARGE LED INDICATOR: Lights up when the HANDSET is placed on the BASE UNIT for
charging.

18. MEMO Button: Press and hold down to record memo messages.
19. PAGE/MINUTE Button: (PAGE) Press to page the Handset. (MINUTE) Press to set the
minute during time setting, or press to set the third digit of the access code during code setting.
20. BASE UNIT VOLUME CONTROLź/HOUR Button: (ź) Use to adjust the speaker
volume level of the BASE UNIT. (HOUR) Press to set the hour during time setting, or press
set the second digit of the access code during setting.
21. BASE UNIT VOLUME CONTROLŸ/DAY Button: (Ÿ) Use to adjust the speaker
volume level of the BASE UNIT. (DAY) Press to the day during time setting, or press to set
the first digit of the access code during code setting.
22. ERASE Button: Press to erase messages.
23. SPEAKERPHONE Button: Press to answer or end a speakerphone call.
24. SPEAKERPHONE LED Indicator: Lights to indicate the presence of speaker is active.
25. SKIP Button: Press to skip messages.
26. LED MESSAGE DISPLAY: indicates the number of memos/messages received, status of the
system.
– Erase – OGM is playing ~ – No. of memos/message
– Announce Only – Memory is full – Pause
27. REPEAT Button: Press to repeat messages.
28. PLAY Button: Press to play message.
29. PLAY LED Indicator: Lights to indicate playing a message.
30. STOP Button: Press to stop playing a message.
31. Charger: For charging the HANDSET.
