Cordless Telephone Operation
Speakerphone Feature for BASE
Receiving Calls
When ring in, press button on the BASE to receive the calls. You may press
or buttons to adjust the volume level. The Display will show level of volume
for Max.,
for minimum, for off.
Use switch from BASE speakerphone to your HANDSET just by lift the HANDSET from cradle or
press HANDSET button when it is not on BASE cradle.
Placing a Call
When HANDSET is on cradle, press BASE button the
LED will display first, wait
until speakerphone button LED turns on to get the line, then dial number from with HANDSET
TELEPHONE KEYPAD without press button.
During BASE speakerphone mode, lift the HANDSET then the call will be transfer from BASE to
HANDSET automatically.
If HANDSET is not on cradle, first you need to press HANDSET button to get the line then
dial the number you wish and wait until call is connected. Press the HANDSET button,
the LCD displays “EXT. NUMBER”. Press “0” to transfer the call from HANDSET to BASE. BASE
will ring then press button to accept the transfer.
Caller ID System Operation
Caller ID System
This telephone automatically displays an incoming caller’s name and telephone number together
with the date and time of the call. It records up to 80 calls and stores the data in Memory. Each
handset works independently for caller ID operation & function manual setting

MPORTANT: You must subscribe to the Caller ID service from your local telephone company to
utilize this feature.
Viewing Caller Information During Incoming Calls
1. When there is incoming call, the name and the telephone number of the caller will automatically
appear after the second ring. Press the SHIFT RIGHT Ź button to view a name of more than 11
characters.

Month/Date Number of calls recorded
OR
Caller’s telephone number will appear if the caller’s name is not available.
OR
“OUT OF AREA” will appear if the origin of the incoming does not
support the Caller ID system.
OR
e.g.
“UNKNOWN” will appear if the origin if the incoming call has no
name and does not support the Caller’s name and /or telephone
number is blinked.
OR
e.g.
“PRIVATE” and/or “P--------“ will appear if the caller’s name and/or telephone number is blocked .
OR
“DATA ERROR” will appear if wrong data was received from the telephone line.
OR
The name stored in the DIRECTORY will appear for an incoming call with matching telephone
numbers.
MSG WAITING (Message Waiting)
The MSG WAITING GREEN LED indicator will blink when there is a message for you from your
requested Visual Message Indication from your local telephone company. “MSG WAITING” will
appear on the LCD Screen in STANDBY mode. (To remove the MESSAGE WAITING indicator,)
