Set Warning Alarm for Battery
Condition
There are several power options can be set for the Notebook.
You can also set up the alarm methods for battery condition.
1. Click [Start] → [Control Panel] → [Performance
and Maintance] → [Power Options].
2. Click “Alarms”.
3. Click and check the selection box.
Set Up Battery Alarm
4. Click [Alarm Action].
Set up the actions that the Notebook will do afterthe alarm.
Set Up Low Battery Alarm Action
Click [OK] after complete the setting.

Tip
It is possible also to select both notication
methods.
When you mute the speaker, the sound alarm
will not come out, even the sound alarm is set.
2 Operation of the Notebook after the alarm
Decide how the Notebook works after the warning
notication selected appears.
Removing and Installing the
Battery
Ensure the Notebook is powered off before doing battery
exchange. p lease ensure ( )The battery LED is off.
Attention
1. Before removing the battery, ensure the Notebook
is powered off.
2. Move the battery lock switch to the right (unlock
position).
Battery Lock Switch
1. Slide and hold the battery release latch
2. Remove the battery
DO NOT use the AC adapter not included in
the package. Use of another type of adapter
may risk re or explosion.
Do not connect the positive (+) and
negative(-) terminals with a metal object
such as wire.Short-circuiting may occur
leading the battery pack to leak acid,
overheat, emit smoke, burst and/or ignite.
DO NOT throw the battery in re.

3..Slide the battery into the slot. Press it into place
gently but rmly until the latc h locks it into place.
Tip
Ensure the battery lock switch is unlocked then
insert the battery rmly.
5. Slide the battery lock to switch back to the locked
position.
