Chapter 3 View Administrator
Configuration View
TheConfigurationviewisdisplayedwhenyouclicktheConfigurationbutton.This
viewcontainsmultiplesectionsthatallowyoutoanalyzedesktopusage,configure
licensing,connections,authenticationcriteria,andsoforth.Eachsectionislistedinthe
paneontheleftsideofthescreen.Clickanentryinthelist
todisplaytheconfiguration
informationassociatedwiththatsection.
EntitledUsers
andGroups
Global Thistabprovidesacompletelistofallusersandusergroups
thatareentitledtousethedesktopsandpoolsmanagedby
ViewConnectionServer.
Thedefaultdomainofeachuser,thenumberofdesktopsor
poolstowhichtheyareentitled,andanyactivesessions
are
alsoprovided.

Thistabprovidesinformationaboutthedesktopentitlements
foraspecificuserorgroup.
Itdisplaysthesameinformationasthatprovidedinthe
EntitledUsersandGroupstab,andalsodescribesthetypeof
desktoporpooltowhichtheselecteduseror
groupisentitled.
Active
Sessions
All Thistablistsallthecurrentlyactivedesktopsessions,either
globallyorfortheselecteduserorgroup.Theusername,start
time,duration,andvirtualmachineaddressforeach
connecteduserareshown.
Youcanselectuser fromthetableprovidedandclick:
Disconnectsessiontodisconnecttheuserfromthe
desktop—thisactiondoesnotlogtheuserorgroupoff,
andtheirsessionwillbepreservedoncetheylogbackin
providingtheAutomaticlogoffafterdisconnectsetting
specifiedduringdesktopdeploymenthasbeennotbeen
exceeded
Logoffsessiontologtheuseroffanddisconnectthem
fromthecurrentsession
Resetvirtualmachinetodisconnectthecurrently
connecteduserandrestartthesystem
Offline
Sessions
All ThistablistsalltheOfflineDesktopdesktopscurrently
checkedout,eithergloballyortotheselecteduser.
