YoucanoptimizethevirtualmemoryontheWindowsServercomputersonwhichyour
ViewConnectionServerinstancesareinstalledbychangingthesystempagefile
settings.
WhenWindowsServerisinstalled,theoperatingsystemcalculatesaninitialand
maximumpagefilesizebasedonthephysicalmemoryinstalledonthe
computer.
Thesedefaultsettingsremainfixedevenafteryourestartthecomputer.
IftheWindowsServercomputerisavirtualmachine,youcanchangethememorysize
throughvCenterServer.However,aslongasWindowsusesthedefaultsetting,the
systempagefilesizedoesnotadjusttothenewmemory
size.
To configure system page-file settings
1OntheWindowsServercomputeronwhichViewConnectionServerisinstalled,
navigatetotheVirtualMemorydialogbox.
Bydefault,Customsizeisselected.Aninitialandmaximumpagefilesizeappear.
2ClickSystemmanagedsize.
Windowscontinuallyrecalculatesthesystempagefilesizebasedoncurrentmemory
useand
availablememory.
