1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Ai Research warrants to the original retail purchaser, this product to be free from defective workmanship and material when used under normal conditions in accordance with the product’s
printed instructions for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. Ai Research agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part in exchange for the defective one at no charge for
parts or labor.
This warranty is limited to Ai Research products and specifically excludes consequential damage to other associated equipment which may result for any reason from use with this product. In no event
shall Ai Research be liable for incidental or consequential damages or have any liability with respect to defects other than the obligations set forth above. Some states do not allow limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts, and/or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
This warranty does not cover the following:
• Damages caused by water, neglect, abuse, misuse, improper installation or operation.
• Damages caused by acts of God or nature.
• Damages occurring during shipment of the product to Ai Research for repairs.
• Any product which is modified without consent of Ai
Research.

FACTORY KICK PANEL REMOVAL:
DRIVER Side: Remove the trim piece that starts at the top of the kick panel and goes up along the side of the dash. Remove the two
push-in fasteners attaching the factory kick panel. Pull the kick panel away from the metal bulkhead. Remove the two plastic posts that
the push-in fasteners snapped into. Pull the carpet back and find any wires that may run beneath the carpet and pull them up above the
carpet.
PASSENGER Side: Remove the trim piece that starts at the top of the kick panel and goes up along the side of the dash. Remove the two
push-in fasteners attaching the factory kick panel. Pull the kick panel away from the metal bulkhead. Remove the two plastic posts that
the push-in fasteners snapped into. Pull the carpet back and find any wires that may run beneath the carpet and pull them up above the
carpet.
Note: Always check the fit of the Q-Forms panel in the vehicle BEFORE any cutting or modifications are done!
PREPARE Q-FORMS PANELS:
Cut the speaker holes in the Q-Forms before installing the panels in the vehicle. Using a hole saw of the correct size, position the pilot drill
on the dimple at the center of the speaker mounting surface. Be careful as the hole saw exits the rear of the panel. Install speaker wiring
and crossover network as per manufacture’s instructions. Install tweeters as per manufacture’s instructions. Install midrange drivers after
Q-Forms panels have been installed in the vehicle.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
DRIVER’S Side: Lay the Q-Forms kick panel into place in the approximate location and connect the speaker wiring. Install the kick panel
into the permanent position previously held by the original kick panel. Be sure that the front edge of the panel fits tightly against the rubber
door seal. Make sure the panel overlaps the threshold panel and is slid down as far as possible. Align the panel with the rubber door
seal. Mark and predrill a 3/32” hole in the metal using the predrilled hole in the top edge of the Q-Forms panel as a guide. Secure the
panel with one of the supplied #8x1/2” sheet metal screws provided. Drive the supplied #8x2-1/2” pan head sheet metal screw through
the predrilled hole in the bottom of the panel and into the floor pan. Reinstall the factory trim piece along the door opening. Lay the
supplied polyfill in and around the opening for the midrange driver. Install the midrange driver as per manufacture’s instructions. Be
sure to center driver in opening to allow clearance for the speaker grill.
PASSENGER’S Side: Lay the Q-Forms kick panel into place in the approximate location and connect the speaker wiring. Install the kick

screw through the predrilled hole in the bottom of the panel and into the floor pan. Reinstall the factory trim piece along the door
opening. Lay the supplied polyfill in and around the opening for the midrange driver. Install the midrange driver as per manufacture’s
instructions. Be sure to center driver in opening to allow clearance for the speaker grill.
INSTALL GRILLS:
Cut the supplied rubber U-channel in half( approximately 20” each). Apply rubber U-channel
around the edge of the grill, trim excess U-channel if needed and press grill into the
grill opening in the Q-Forms panel.
Installation of your new
Q-Forms
kick panels is complete.
