Remove Original Kick Panels

• Remove the threshold plates by pulling upward to release retaining clips.

• Pull back rubber door seal.

• Remove the factory kickpanels by pulling out to release retaining clips.

NOTE: Always check the fit of the Q-forms into the vehicle before any cutting or modifications are done.

Install Speakers␣ ␣ ␣

• Cut the speaker holes into the Q-Forms before installing them into the vehicle.

• Install the speakers into the Q-Forms after they have been installed into the vehicle.

• Install speaker wiring and crossover network as per manufacturer’s instructions.

• Using a hole saw of correct size, position pilot drill on dimple at center of speaker mounting surface. A die grinder or keyhole saw may

also be used.

• Lay the supplied polyfill in and around the Q-forms cavity behind the speakers.

• Cut speaker mounting holes taking care as saw exits rear of panel.

• Secure speakers into locations by driving screws through speaker bezel and into mounting surface. Be careful to center speakers in

mounting surface to allow clearance for grill shell.

• Install tweeters as per manufacturer’s instructions.

Install New Q-Forms Kick Panels (Always predrill all mounting screw locations)

Driver's side:

• Remove plastic wire harness holder and large rubber panel and push wire harnesses back into newly created cavity.

• Lay the rubber door seal back down into place.

• Lay Q-forms kick panel into approximate installation location making sure it fits like the factory panel.

• Mark and predrill the screw holes on both the front and back of the Q-Forms panel.

• Install both 1.5" screws and 7/8" nylon spacers through holes in front edge of Q-Forms.

• Install 1" screw through hole at upper rear edge of Q-Forms panel.

• Fasten back down the threshold plate.

Passenger's side:

• If neccessary because of speaker mounting depth do the same with the wire harnesses as done on the driver's side.

• Lay Q-forms kick panel into approximate installation location making sure it fits like the factory panel.

• Install both 1.5" screws and 7/8" nylon spacers through holes in front edge of Q-Forms.

• Install 1.5" screw and 1" spacer through hole at rear upper edge of Q-Forms panel.

• Lay the rubber door seal back down into place.

• Fasten back down the threshold plate.

QL-K2010 Included Hardware:

(5) 1.5" screws

(4) 7/8" white nylon spacers

(1) 1" screws

(1) 1" white nylon spacer

(2) 6" x 8" polyfill pieces

(2) 6" Q-grills

Estimated Installation Time: 1.5 hrs.

Continued from other side: Mark Center location using ruler: This will position any area of the grill that hangs over to the back bottom edge of the woofer surface where it will not be visible when installed. With the grill on the mounting surface, mark the screw locations for the woofer. Remove the grill and align the screw locations with the the mounting template to mark to cutout location. Use a ruler and pencil to mark the center point of the cutout by lining up the mounting holes opposite one another.
