Note: Always check the fit of the Q-Forms panel in the vehicle BEFORE any cutting or modifications are done!

Before

• Remove original threshold plate by removing attachment screws.

• Carefully pull kick panel away from bulkhead to release mounting clip.

• Tilt lower front edge upward and remove panel from vehicle.

• Cut the speaker holes into the Q-Forms before installing them into the vehicle.

• Install speaker wiring and crossover network as per manufacturer’s instructions.

• Using a hole saw of correct size, position pilot drill on dimple at center of speaker mounting surface. A die

grinder or keyhole saw may also be used.

• Cut speaker mounting holes taking care as saw exits rear of panel.

• Install tweeters as per manufacturer’s instructions.

• Install the midrange speakers into the Q-Forms after they have been installed into the vehicle.

(Always predrill all mounting screw locations)

• Tilt tip of upper edge to allow it to slip under upper door seal molding.

• Rotate panel to position front edge tightly against rubber door seal.

Driver's Side: Secure through upper rear mounting hole

below the e-brake with supplied 1" truss head screw.

Passenger's Side:

Secure through front edge mounting hole with

supplied 1 1/2" pan head screw and 3/4" white

nylon spacer.

Speaker Installation:

Lay the supplied polyfill in and around the

Q-forms cavity behind the speakers.

Secure speakers into locations. Be careful

to center speakers in mounting surface to

allow clearance for grill.

QL-K2004 Included Hardware:

(1) 1" Truss head screw

(1) 1 1/2" Pan head screw

(1) 3/4" white nylon spacer

Continued from other side: Mark Center location using ruler: This will position any area of the grill that hangs over to the back bottom edge of the woofer surface where it will not be visible when installed. With the grill on the mounting surface, mark the screw locations for the woofer. Remove the grill and align the screw locations with the the mounting template to mark to cutout location. Use a ruler and pencil to mark the center point of the cutout by lining up the mounting holes opposite one another.
