Thank you for choosing Q-Logic! - Quite possibly the most advanced loudspeaker enclosure

available for Mobile Electronics and the ONLY subwoofer enclosure with the

Ring

(patent-pending), a multi-diameter woofer mounting adapter that can extract optimum

performance from any driver you choose!

Follow these instructions to custom fit your driver to the enclosure.

YOUR INSTALLATION CAN MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE SOUND QUALITY!

A. If your driver has a mounting diameter of 9.125" or less, you are ready to install the

driver. However, if you have a driver with a mounting diameter greater than

9.125", check out the section on the back for additional instructions before continuing.

B. Place the QXs - Ring onto the baffle surface so that the angled portion extends into the

cutout area.

C. Connect the speaker lead provided with the enclosure to the driver. Be sure to connect

red to positive and black to negative.

D. Center the frame of the driver within the rings in the QXs - Ring. Use the location

marks on the QXs - Ring as guides to align the driver mounting holes. Confirm the

driver is still centered within the rings.

E. Using the supplied screws, secure the driver in the enclosure. It is recommended to start

all screws and then come back and retighten screws to prevent the driver basket from

being bent or distorted during mounting.

F. Place the mounting shoe on the enclosure to ensure the Qxs ring fits through the woofer

opening in the mounting shoe. Adjust if neccessary.

Step 2: Installing the Driver.

A. Remove the four 1" machine screws securing the enclosure to the mounting shoe.

B. Place the enclosure on a solid work surface with the driver mounting hole facing up.

C. Remove and unpack the hardware kit located inside the enclosure. The kit contains

mounting screws, speaker lead, QXs - Ring and a polyfill sheet.

D. Lay the supplied polyfill sheet into the enclosure.

This Product is designed to attach to the rear gate. Wrangler

models equipped with the lockable storage area behind the rear

seat may require removal to allow this enclosure to be installed.

A. Remove the three mounting bolts from the latch housing as indicated in the picture at right.

Installing the Enclosure. Continued from other side: B. Place the mounting shoe in place on the rear gate and reinstall the bolts removed in the previous step. ( do not tighten ) C. Confirm the mounting shoe is straight and level in relation to the rear gate. Using the pilot holes in the mounting shoe as a guide (arrows), drill two 7/64" holes in the rear gate and install the supplied #8 x 1/2" screws to secure the mounting shoe to the rear gate. D. Re-tighten the three bolts for the latch housing. E.
