THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE MANUFACTURED 
HOME FLOOR, WALL  AND 
CEILING/ROOF 
MUST BE  MAINTAINED.

PIPE 
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES 
Use only listed type 
"L" 
pellet vent pipe. Pipe 
should extend at least 
3 
feet above the part of the 
roof through which 
it 
passes. The top of the pipe 
should be at least 
2 
feet above the highest required 
elevation of any part of the mobile home within 
10 
feet of the pipe. 
If exhaust vent exits the mobile home at a location 
other than the roof, and exits at a point 
7 
feet or 
less above the ground level on which the mobile 
home 
is 
position a guard or method of enclosing 
the pipe shall be provided at the point of exit for a 
height of up to

feet. The openings, if any,  in this 
guard shall not allow a
