The following areas need to be inspected

Burn Grate Ash Slide Plates (Free Standing Model Only) Ash Pan

Heat Exchanger Tubes
Burn
Crate:The
burn grate should be inspected periodi-
cally to assure that the air holes have not become clogged
with ash or clinkers. The burn grate can easily be cleaned
with the grate
scraperlash pan tool, or it can be removed
for cleaning.
It
is
very important to monitor the ash build
I
up ~~nder the burn grate, as excessive amounts of ash will
I
block combustion air from entering the grate, causing
i
pellets to pile-up in the grate.

Heat Exchanger Tuhes:A
rod located above the romhustion chamher door
is
used for cleaning the t~~hes. By pulling this rod in and out a few times.
you will clean the fly ash off the heat exchanger tubes.
If your stove was
recently turned off, the rod
