Optional Hardware

• A PC with a serial RS232 COM port to be used by the BridgeWay Con-

figuration Tool Software for downloading firmware updates.

• RS232 null-modem cable (pins 2 and 3 swapped) from the PC to the

BridgeWay module.

• DIN rail to mount the BridgeWay.

Required Software

• DeviceNet configuration software such as RSNetWorx for DeviceNet to

configure DeviceNet devices and BridgeWay’s DeviceNet operation.

RSLinx version 2.31 or later is required.

Optional Software

• BridgeWay Configuration Tool Software to update BridgeWay’s firm-

ware.
