Sound Deadening Material
Sound deadening mats are the
most cost effective way of improving the performance
of any autosound system. Often, focus is placed
primarily on total SPL output, while true
performance is actually based on the SPL over road
noise. By lowering the noise floor, sound system
quality is greatly improved, an especially important
requirement with mobile video systems. Installed
inside door panels, between trunk and roof liner and
body, and under carpet, these self-adhesive pads
easily contour to any shape and are easily cut to size.
#60-4840 is a rubber mat with silver fiber and is
specially designed for sound and heat insulation in the
interior floor, transmission tunnel or trunk.
#60-4845 is specially designed rubberized material for
superior sound absorption in door panels, headliner,
transmission tunnel and trunk. #60-4850 is a
rubberized material with a chrome reflective layer, for
sound insulation in high heat areas such as
the firewall.
