LEANING POST AND LIVEWELL
The leaning post seats are adjustable and have flip-up cushions. There is a tackle locker built into the leaning
post. Refer to the Plumbing Systems chapter for additional information on the livewell.
STERN BAIT AND TACKLE RIGGING STATION
The stern bait and tackle rigging station is equipped with a transom door, optional aft livewell, cutting board,
tackle storage and rigged bait storage unit. The livewell is supplied by a raw water circulating pump and drains
overboard.
BELOW DECK FISHBOX
Four fishboxes are located in the floor. The fishboxes are drained
by a macerator pumps located in the bilge and activated by switches
at the helm. A momentary switch is used because the pump will be
damaged if it is allowed to run dry for more than 30 seconds. The
fishbox should be pumped out and cleaned after each use. Refer to
the Plumbing Systems chapter for more information on the fishbox
drainage.
TRANSOM DOOR
A transom door is incorporated into the rigging station and livewell. The transom door should only be operated
when the boat is not in motion. The door must be latched in either the full “OPEN” or full “CLOSED” position.
Never leave the transom door unlatched.
THE TRANSOM DOOR SHOULD BE CLOSED AND PROPERLY LATCHED WHENEVER THE
ENGINE(S) ARE RUNNING. NEVER OPEN THE TRANSOM DOOR WHILE UNDERWAY OR
IN ROUGH SEA CONDITIONS. IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS, AN OPEN TRANSOM DOOR
COULD ALLOW A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF WATER TO ENTER THE COCKPIT CRE-
ATING A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS CONDITION. OPERATING THE BOAT UNDER
POWER WITH THE TRANSOM DOOR/GATE OPEN MAY ALLOW PERSONS TO FALL
OVERBOARD AND INTO BOAT PROPELLERS OR TO BE LOST IN OPEN WATER.
PERIODICALLY INSPECT THE TRANSOM DOOR/GATE FITTINGS FOR WEAR, DAMAGE
OR LOOSE FIT. ANY PROBLEMS SHOULD BE INSPECTED AND CORRECTED IMMEDI-
ATELY.
HEAD COMPARTMENT
The head compartment is located in the console. A door in the forward side of the console provides access.
This compartment contains the DC and AC breaker panels, battery charger and the optional head. Optional
stereo equipment may also be mounted in the space.
