The livewell is also equipped with a recirculating pump. This pump circulates the water in the livewell. The

livewell must be full of water with the drain plug firmly secured for the recirculating pump to function.

The livewell pump is equipped with a sea strainer on the intake side of the pump located in the aft mechanical

space. This should be checked frequently and cleaned as necessary.

To fill the livewell, insert the plug into the drain fitting at the bottom of the livewell. Make sure the valve

at the intake thru-hull fitting is open and activate the livewell switch. When the water level reaches the

overflow, it will begin to circulate.

To drain the livewell, turn off the livewell pump and pull out the plug in the drain fitting at the bottom of

the livewell. When the livewell has completely drained, use the washdown hose to flush the livewell and drain

debris. The livewell drain and overflow are routed to overboard drains.

The livewell supply thru-hull valve should be closed whenever the livewell is not in use. This will prevent

water from entering the livewell while the boat is cruising.

The standard and optional livewells are equipped with two Y-valves each

to enhance the system's performance.

The valve located on the forward wall of the leaning post controls the water

level. In the 'standard overflow' position, the water flows through the

livewell and out the lower overflow. In the 'pressurized livewell' position,

the lower overflow is closed. This will raise the water to the upper

overflow, creating pressure within the tank

that will reduce sloshing of the water when

running at speed. Returning the valve to the

'standard overflow' position will lower the

water level to reduce spillage when accessing the livewell.

The valve(s) located in the aft mechanical compartment control the flow of the

recirculation pump to each livewell. The 'recirculation' position should be

selected for normal operation. In the event the circulating pump should fail or

its pickup become restricted, the 'back-up fill' position should be selected. This

reroutes the recirculating pump to fill the livewell and circulate the water. In

this mode, aeration and recirculation of the livewell water is discontinued.

DO NOT USE THE LIVEWELL AS A DRY STORAGE AREA WHEN IT IS NOT IN USE.

SEA WATER COULD ACCIDENTALLY BE DELIVERED TO THE LIVEWELL FROM THE

THRU-HULL FITTING AND DAMAGE EQUIPMENT STORED THERE.

DO NOT RUN THE LIVEWELL PUMP DRY FOR EXTENDED PERIODS AS DAMAGE TO

THE PUMP WILL RESULT.
