I/O Configuration
On this I/O configuration menu, user can configure Input and Output Video setting, test
pattern, and preview monitoring Output.
1) Input Configuration
Some of the configuration applies to certain Input Board type only. For example, HDMI Input
Board does not need to configure Video because there are no choices to make. First select
Input # that wishes to make a change on Input section and then use Video and Audio section
for configuration. Multiple Input #s can be selected at once.
Input: It displays current Input Boards' Video and Audio configuration. Video configuration
in blue, and Audio configuration in red.
Video: There are three options to configure Input Board's Video.
 SA: Set Input Video into Auto mode
PM series Matrix Router will detect signals between SM (HDMI/SDI) and SS
(DVI/CATx/Fiber) and Output whichever is active. If both SM and SS are
active, it will Output SM. Factory default is set to SM.
 SM: Set Input Video to HDMI (on HDMI, CATx, Fiber Boards) or SDI (on SDI
Board)
 SS: Set Input Video to DVI (on DVI Board), CATx (on CATx Board), Fiber (on
Fiber Board)
Audio: There are three options to configure Input Board's Audio
 AA: Set Input Audio into Auto mode
