3.2.5 Installation of Basic System or 2-shelf System (Floor
Standing)
The PBX can be expanded to a 2-shelf system by mounting an Expansion Shelf on the Basic Shelf.

WARNING
Be careful not to drop any components. Dropping components may damage them or cause an
injury.
CAUTION
• Do not block the openings of the shelf. Allow space of at least 10 cm (4 in) at the sides of the shelf,
and 20 cm (8 in) above the top-mounted shelf.
• Make sure that the surface behind the shelf is flat and free of obstacles, so that the openings on the
back of the shelf will not be blocked.
• Make sure that the surface behind the shelf is not made of wood.
Note
• Make sure to remove the front cover from each shelf before installing the shelves (refer
to "3.2.3 Opening/Closing the Front Cover").
• Do not install any optional service cards or a PSU in the shelves before installation.
