3.3.3 IPCMEC Card (KX-TDE0105)
Function
Memory expansion card to increase system data storage space. To be mounted on the IPCEMPR card.
To install the IPCMEC card, first remove the preinstalled memory card from the IPCEMPR card.

CAUTION
• Before removing the preinstalled memory card, be sure to back up the system data. For details, refer
to "2.5.1 Tool—SD memory backup" and "2.6.3 Utility—File Transfer PBX (SD Card) to PC" in the PC
Programming Manual.
• After installing the IPCMEC card, the PBX must be initialized. For details about the initialization
procedure, refer to "3.15.1 Starting the PBX".
• After initialization, even after restoring system data, some data (e.g., SMDR data) will not be restored.
For further information about which data will not be restored, refer to Saving Modified Data
in "2.7.1 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)" in the PC Programming Manual.
• It is recommended to output the SMDR data before removing the preinstalled memory card.
