TO INSTALL SPRINGS:
1.
Locate the Spring Tool that came with your trampoline.
2. Hook one end of the new spring through the V-Ring on
the edge of the jumping mat.
3. Attach the hooked end of the Spring Tool to the remain-
ing spring hook.
4. With the spring attached, pull the Spring tool towards
the trampoline frame, extending the spring so the hook
can be inserted into the spring hole in the top rail
frame. (SEE BELOW DIAGRAM FOR CLARIFICATION)
During INSTALLATION and REMOVAL of springs, DO NOT let go of the Spring Tool or allow the spring to suddenly
contract, as this can result in serious injury.
NEVER hold or touch the spring, spring coils or spring hooks with your bare hands while installing or removing a spring.
ALWAYS REMOVE and REPLACE Springs ONE AT A TIME to keep even tension on the trampoline mat.
TO UNINSTALL SPRINGS:
1. Locate the springs that need replacement, and mark
off
their location with masking tape if necessary.
2. Locate the Spring Tool that came with your
trampoline.
3. Using the hooked end of the Spring Tool, pull the end
of the spring towards you while lifting the hook out of
the hole.
4. ALWAYS keep a firm grip on the Spring Tool, and en-
sure tension is kept on the spring while removing it.
5. nce it is free from the hole on the top rail, slowly allow
the spring to contract.
!WARNING!
Trampoline springs have significant tension.
Use caution when installing and un-installing springs.
ALWAYS remove and replace springs ONE at a time.
Be aware of possible pinch points and keep extremi-
ties, clothing, and fingers away from these zones.
ALWAYS use proper caution when removing springs,
especially damaged or severely rusted springs, as in
rare cases they may suddenly break.
Trampoline
springs should ALWAYS be installed by a
knowledgeable adult familiar with the trampoline.
