The custom sock filter that comes attached to every SolarBag was analyzed at Chemoptix for pore size.
Pores on the filter material were measured for size based on a sensitive measurement of light
transmission. The study found more than 97% of the pores on the sock filter were smaller than 100 µm
in diameter, making it an effective filter for particles exceeding that size.
