Installation
Electrical Wiring
¡
Do not operate this pump with wet hands. Doing so
might result in electric shock.
¡
Do not turn the power ON during electrical wiring.
Attach a "Work In Progress" label to the power
switch.
¡
Reliably ground the earth terminal. Failure to do so
might result in electric shock. Be sure to install a
current leakage breaker.
¡
Do not disassemble the body or circuits.
!
WARNING
¡
Electrical wiring must be performed by personnel
such as an electrician having specialist knowledge.
¡
Check the power voltage before wiring. Do not wire
a power supply outside of the rated voltage range.
¡
Be sure to ground the earth lead (green) when
wiring to prevent electric shock.
!
CAUTION
●When operating the pump interlocked
with a transfer pump

¡A circuit protector (CP) is ideal as an overcur-
rent protection device on this pump from the
aspects of operating time and shutoff current
characteristics. (5 A medium-speed type)
¡ The circuit protector indicated as a recom-
mended protective device can also be used as
a power supply switch, which simplifies wiring.
¡A thermal relay for a motor is unsuitable for
protection of this pump from the aspect of char-
acteristics.
NOTE
¡ Be sure to use a commercial power supply
(power supplied from an electric power compa-
ny) as the power supply.
¡Power supplies that cannot be used:
1.Power supply equipped with an AC power
regulator
2.Power supply on the output side of the invert-
er
¡Do not take power in from the same terminal as
an induction motor (e.g. transfer pump).
A high voltage may be generated, for example,
when the power is turned OFF and damages
the pump.
