3.5. Power supply connection
• Check whether the voltage in your mains corresponds to the data on the data plate on the
product.
• Use the supply adapter that is a part of your ISDN GSM GATEWAY Lite package. *
• Check whether you have connected an antenna. If you connect power supply to the gateway
without connecting an antenna, the GSM module transmitter might get damaged.
• Plug the adapter connector in the gateway (see the lower front connectors – fig. 1). After a
moment the green “Power” LED must light up. If the control lamp does not light up the power
supply or the protective fuse in the gateway are defective – please contact the service
department.
*Rack version of GSM gateway has powesuppy on back bus.

3.6. Connection to your PC
The GSM gateway works in the data mode as a modem: the connector has exactly the
same connection as a normal external modem and it is shown in fig. 6. To connect the PC you
should use a so-called not crossed (1:1) “extending” cable – the same as for connecting a PC to
any external modem. Maximum length of the cable is a few meters. (Connect the cable to the
PC serial COM port.)
