23.3. YR80.241 - REDUNDANCY MODULE
The YR80.241 is equipped with two input channels (40A each), which are individually
decoupled by utilizing mosfet technology. The output current can go as high as 80A.
Using mosfets instead of diodes reduces the heat generation and the voltage drop between
input and output. The YR80.241 does not require an additional auxiliary voltage and is self-
powered even in case of a short circuit across the output.
Due to the low power losses, the unit is very slender and only requires 46mm width on the
DIN-rail.
