MVS-8100C Cameras and Camera Cables
The MVS-8100C frame grabber support the RS-170 and CCIR cameras for monochrome
image acquisition and NTSC cameras for color image acquisition listed in Table 21. Part
numbers are shown for the Cognex cables to use with each camera.
Note Your Cognex software package may not support all the cameras in
this list. Consult your software’s release notes for the latest
supported configurations for your software package.
Caution Cameras must be connected using the Cognex cables shown in this table. Using
non-Cognex camera cables could damage your frame grabber, your camera, or both.
JP10 3 2-3 Covering pins 1-2 specifies cameras 0 and 1
are monochrome. Covering pins 2-3 specifies
camera 0 is unused, camera 1 is color.
JP11 3 2-3 Covering pins 1-2 specifies cameras 2 and 3
are monochrome. Covering pins 2-3 specifies
camera 2 is unused, camera 3 is color.
JP14 2 Covered Reserved for internal use. Do not remove this
jumper.
JP15 2 Open Reserved for internal use. Do not use.
JP16 N/A N/A Not present on the MVS-8100C
JP17 2 Covered Reserved for internal use. Do not remove this
