Trigger and I/O Expansion Panel
An expansion panel (P/N 300-0240) is included with your MVS-8100C to carry trigger,
strobe, status, and external sync connections from the 26-pin trigger and I/O header
(J6) on the MVS-8100C to the back of the PC. A 26-pin IDC connector is connected by
a ribbon cable to the expansion panel’s DB-25F port. The red wire in the ribbon cable
must align with pin 1 on the J6 port.
The pin numbering for the J6 port is analogous to that of the J12 port shown in Figure 16
on page 40; that is, pin 1 is in the lower left corner of J6. The trigger and I/O expansion
panel is shown in Figure 10 on page 23.
