Pinout of Camera Ports 0, 2, and 3
The pinout of camera ports 0, 2, and 3 is similar to camera port 1, except that there is
no trigger and strobe access. Table 7 shows the pinout for camera ports 0, 2, and 3.
Camera Splitter Cable
When using camera port 1 for trigger and strobe signals, you must use camera splitter
cable, Cognex P/N 300-0178, to separate the trigger and strobe lines from the camera
control lines. This cable splits out the four lines on pins 1, 3, 6, and 8 of camera port 1
to an RJ-12 jack. Figure 13 shows the cable.

You can also connect trigger and strobe signals with the trigger/strobe expansion panel
described on page 31.
