6.2.3.2 Environment
The environment controller in the 8580/8590 features monitoring and statistics functions.
The Environment menu provides information on the measured values.
Environment Description
Total running time of
device
Total time the device was on.
Backlight running time Total time that backlighting was on.
Power key switch-on count Indicates how often the computer was switched on with
the power key.
Ignition switch-on count Indicates how often the computer was switched on via the
vehicle ignition.
Power key switch-off
count
Indicates how often the computer was switched off with
the power key.
Automatic switch-off
count
Indicates how often the computer was switched off via the
ignition.
APM switch-off count Indicates how often the computer was switched off via
Windows Advanced Power Management (automatically
following Windows shutdown).
