6.3 The Software Keyboard
The Psion Software Keyboard is an onscreen, touch keyboard that allows the operator to use
a standard, alphanumeric keyboard without connecting a physical keyboard. It is equipped
with all the standard keyboard keys along with function keys and a numeric pad.
Overview of Important Functions
All of the keys found on a standard keyboard are available (alphanumeric, function keys
etc.) on the Software Keyboard.
• Several keyboards can be defined.
• Two different keyboard colours offer additional design options.
• Switching between various keyboards is possible.
• The keyboard can be quickly displayed and hidden again.
6.3.1 Psion Teklogix Config and Software Keyboard
The Software Keyboard starts automatically when Psion Teklogix Config is launched. When
the cursor is placed in an input field, the keyboard is always displayed.
