Intensity
This parameter is used to adjust the light intensity of the backlight. Sliding the bar to the left
lowers the light intensity, and sliding it to the right raises the intensity.
Bright For
The value chosen from this dropdown menu determines the duration of time that the back-
light stays on at the configured intensity when a unit is not in use.
Dim For
The value chosen from this dropdown menu determines the duration of time that the back-
light stays on at half the configured intensity (dimmed backlight) when a unit is not in use.
External Power Checkbox
When you select the checkbox next to ‘When using external power keep the backlight
always ON.’, the backlight remains ON at the configured intensity.
5.5.4 Input Panel
The 8515 is equipped with at Soft Input Panel (SIP).
Note: Backlight changes take effect immediately. You do not need to reset the 8515.
